The Film

Just as our protagonist begins to hit her stride in New York City, life throws her a curveball. This short film packs a full emotional rollercoaster, and I wanted the poster to reflect these dynamic aspects of Amber Iman’s character.

The Design

She wears her heart on her sleeve, which is where I placed a still of her at her emotional low in the film. She is also playful and silly in the film, a moment I superimposed on her funny bone. Her boyfriend is center-stage and at the heart of this film, but he’s also just hanging on to her coattails. He’s also kind of an ass. All these moments create Amber.
